Lifeline Ambulance Community CIC.
Company Number:13565091

Our Story
John went onto e-bay and bought an ambulance!! and began Lifeline. In 2021 Penny Brooks came on board as director. The team has since grown as has the service.
Lifeline has since developed into a nurse led volunteer patient transport service, first aid provider at events and has recently began teaching and training much needed skills to various industries of work. Our volunteers are made up of people with various backgrounds and who have a variety of their own skills from their own experiences and occupations. As Lifeline is a community interest company (CIC) we rely on grants, donations and our own funds to help keep up with the maintenance of vehicles and the running costs. The money also gets invested into volunteers training and the equipment needed to teach and train. We are often confused with being a charity however we are not for profit company.
We help our volunteers to become more skilled in areas of first aid and to help them develop their potential. Lifeline has become like a community within a community that loves to give back!
Our Vision
Our vision for the future is to grow our own in respects to help other volunteers come onboard and get involved! We are aiming to become CQC qualified which will help open many doors for Lifeline and the volunteers!
We have faced many challenges in the past couple of years ranging from malicious people with bad intentions to financial issues (as have many in the current climate) and volunteer recruitment and retention. However, our passion to help our community remains despite these issues.
